Good afternoon. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we navigate through the new dismissal time. The first buses will pull out of the school at 2:30, so please be at your child’s bus stop by 2:30 in order for them to be released off the bus. Parents who pick up students are asked not to enter the school parking lot until after the buses leave (no earlier than 2:35) You may park and wait at State Farm until 2:35. Thank you!
The staff at Rainelle Elementary is excited to welcome our students back to school. Our school day will begin at regular time and buses will run on the same morning schedule.
The school day will end approximately 15 minutes earlier than previous years; therefore, your child will return home around 15 minutes earlier each day. Please make arrangements for this after-school time change. Thank you.
Our school menu has gone digital! Introducing Nutrislice, an online and convenient way to view your child’s school breakfast and lunch menu with intuitive features and engaging designs. With Nutrislice, you can view nutrition information for each food, including Carb Counts. Greenbrier County Schools provides free school meals to all students. New student enrollment events will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, at Lewisburg Elementary School and Wednesday, July 24, at Greenbrier West High School. New enrollees should bring the following information:
- Official state-issued birth certificate (not a copy)
- immunization record
- copy of health check exam
- copy of most recent dental exam
- two proofs of residency
- social security card of child
- relevant custody order, if applicable
