GCS reminds families that students will be released from school two hours early on Thursday, April 25, to allow for Faculty Senates.


Greenbrier County Schools was one of the first counties in WV to offer a technology device for every student 15 years ago. GCS students in grades 5-12 receive take-home devices to increase educational access at home.


Students at Rainelle Elementary took part in various activities to learn about the spectacular celestial event that happened on April 8th! The rare total solar eclipse that moved across North America was the talk of the town and our students were eager to see what all the excitement was about.
