Summer Meall Program

Greenbrier County Schools announces its sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.

Breakfast and Lunch is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate. 

Meals will be served at the following sites:

Alderson Elementary, Rainelle Elementary, and White Sulphur Springs Elementary.Meals will be provided from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM for breakfast and lunch at 11:30-12:00 starting June 16th through July 25th. Monday through Friday. 

Lewisburg Elementary and Rupert Elementary meals will be provided from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM for Breakfast and Lunch from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM starting June 23rd through July 24th, Monday through Thursday.

No school on June 19th(Juneteenth), June 20th (WV Day), or July 4th ( Independence Day).

Limited meals will be provided at Alderson Farmer’s Market starting June 17- July 22, Tuesdays only.

We will operate only the following sites for enrolled students: Carnegie Hall: AM and PM snacks, July 7- July 18, Monday-Friday, and Greenbrier State Forest (Scout Day camp):  AM and PM snacks, July 14- 17.

A nutritious meal is important for children to learn, play, and remain active during summer. Remember, Hunger Doesn’t Take a Summer Vacation!
